چکیده

We discuss some features of Einstein-Proca gravity in D = 3 and 4 spacetimes. Our study includes a discussion on the tree-level unitarity and on the issue of light deflection in 3D gravity in the presence of a mass term. 1 [email protected] 2 [email protected]

It is shown that the capacity of a classical-quantum channel with arbitrary (possibly mixed) states equals to the maximum of the entropy bound with respect to all apriori distributions. This completes the recent result of Hausladen, Jozsa, Schumacher, Westmoreland and Wooters [5], who proved the equality for the pure state channel. 1. Information and capacity for quantum channel. As the new results for the massive Thirring model the L-matrix and the algebraic relations for its action angle variables are given. So it is shown most directly that this model which describes self-interacting relativistic Fermions in one-dimensional space is a quantum integrable system. We consider the conformally-invariant coupling of topologically massive gravity to a dynamical massless scalar field theory on a three-manifold with boundary. We show that, in the phase of spontaneously broken Lorentz and Weyl symmetries, this theory induces the target space zero mode of the vertex operator for the string dilaton field on the boundary of the three-dimensional manifold. By a fur...

1. Introduction Certain difficulties associated with any theory of quantum gravity stem from the different mathematical framing of our gravity and quantum theories. While general relativity is based on a real, deterministic, differentiable manifold structure, the elements of quantum theory are complex-valued and probabilistic. Consider two ways to reconcile these differences by placing one of t...

The WDW equation of arbitrary Hartle-Hawking factor ordering for several minisuperspace universe models, such as the pure gravity FRW and Taub ones, is mapped onto the dynamics of corresponding classical oscillators. The latter ones are studied by the classical Ermakov invariant method, which is a natural aproach in this context. For the more realistic case of a minimally coupled massive scalar...
